RECOVER-ease Runner Rob Cowan

Rob looks a bit too happy for us at mile 60 during the recent 2008 Coyote Two Moons 100 Miler.Robo_2_moon And, just look below at the consecutive dates between some of his races. Running so many back-to-back ultras demands quick muscle repair. How does Robo take his body to the brink of complete tissue and then bounce back for more torture in such short order? Who's Robo's training and race day best friend? The answer is easy, RECOVER-ease.

Take a look at Rob's ridiculous finishing times!

Rob is a good athlete but with RECOVER-ease, he’s a great athlete. Congratulations Rob on an ultra amazing 2007. We can't wait to see your 2008 statistics. TRD thinks somebody forgot to tell Robo that he's only supposed to run three marathons a year.

Michelle_barton_4Running back-to-back ultras demands quick muscle repair. How did Michelle Barton win the 2008 Avalon 50 Miler on Jan 13th and then follow that up on Jan 20th with a solid first place in the 2008 Calico 50k just seven days later? From a muscle recovery standpoint, it does't seem possible. What's Michelle's training and race day secret weapon? RECOVER-ease.

How did Keira Henninger slash one hour off last year's Calico 50k time by recording a 4:58:58 and finishing in overall tenth? RECOVER-ease.Keira_henninger_2

The Run Down knows that what works for one individual doesn't necessarily mean it will work for another. Michelle and Keira are great athletes but, it's hard to ignore their performance and the RECOVER-ease product which is a huge factor in their ability to continually bounce back after repeated long runs.

Here are Keira's unedited comments, off the Orange County Trail Runners web site, on how she felt the day after the 2008 Calico 50k. "I feel great today and I know it is because of recover- ease! They really work...the key is to take them every day even if you don't run, and on harder days take more..."

If ultra running was a mainstream sport, The Run Down would have to pay Keira for that testimonial.Re_2_bottles_2
