The Run Down wants to congratulate Lorraine Gersitz (4:45:44) for her first place win at the 2008 Orange Curtain 50k; her first all out win in ten years! This is a brutal race run on 100% asphalt and to say its repetitive is a gross understatement. A repeated 10k out-and-back type layout located in Cerritos (Los Angeles County, don’t get us started), you’re on a first name basis with all the volunteers, participants and nomadic picnickers.
